CIT

CIT is an American banking and financial services company. Aside from offering traditional banking services, such as mortgage loans and cash management, CIT also leases locomotives and rail cars to North American transport and shipping companies. It was established in St. Louis, Missouri in 1908 and, after a series of acquisitions throughout its life span, became a division of First Citizens Bank in January 2022.
