ABI Research Expands to Geneva, Switzerland
ABI Research is pleased to announce the opening of an office in Geneva, Switzerland. The primary purpose of this expansion is to support joint research with partner International Telecommunications Union (ITU). The Geneva office will be a focal point for further research efforts to cover international policy relating to cybersecurity and telecommunications.
The ITU and ABI Research together are developing a Global Cybersecurity Index, intended to measure country-by-country cybersecurity readiness. In addition to the ITU work, ABI Research Geneva will continue working with the International Multilateral Partnership Against Cyber Threats (IMPACT) and the Oman ITU Arab Region Cybersecurity Center. Tim Archdeacon, CEO of ABI Research, currently serves as a member of the IMPACT Advisory Board.
The Geneva office will also serve to ensure ABI Research’s commitment to its growing continental European client base.
According to Tim Archdeacon, "As cybersecurity issues continue to advance, ABI Research is poised to provide up-to-date insight, analysis and forecasting about this increasing activity’s effects on the individual, the private enterprise, and nations around the world. Our partnership with the ITU marries the strength of our research with the ITU's well-established global network, going back nearly 150 years."
